Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us, such as an email address submitted to our newsletter or a message sent through our contact page. We also collect standard technical information such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use information
Information is used to operate the site, respond to enquiries, send requested updates and understand which content readers find useful. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies, consent and analytics
Analytics scripts do not load until you accept them in the consent banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, no measurement script is loaded at all. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and you can change it by clearing your browser storage for this site.
When analytics is active we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation, advertising features and ad personalisation signals switched off. We record page views, article views, internal search terms, affiliate link clicks and newsletter sign-ups. These events contain page, article and product identifiers only — never your name, email address or any other personal identifier.
Affiliate partners may set their own cookies when you follow an outbound link so a referral can be attributed. That processing is governed by the destination site's privacy policy.
Newsletter
Our newsletter uses double opt-in: after you submit your address we email a confirmation link, and you are only added once you click it. We store your email address, subscription status, the page you signed up from and the relevant timestamps. Addresses are visible only to Parspun administrators, are never sold or shared, and you can remove yourself at any time from our unsubscribe page.
Third parties
When you leave Parspun through an outbound link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies. We encourage you to review it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time and can request deletion of information you have submitted by contacting us.
Children
Parspun is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
